The LSN instruments are made up of common elements to the whole line. They benefits of the same optional accessories. They only differ by their optical assemblies and phenomenons used.

The portable version is made for industries where it is useful to periodically track and record the diameter evolution on the machines.It allows the recording of the machine number, the date and time of the measures, the diameter statistics along the measuring time, up to 200 single measures per machine, all up to 128 machines. At the end of the records, the data can be transferred to a PC for Excel file update with automatic graph display update, machine per machine.
6 hours autonomy. It comes with two batteries, , one battery charger, one power supply for the instrument.

- Contact pedal.
Used to command the recording or printing of data by foot. Direct connection to the instrument.
- Dust protection.
Air connection and flow adjustment on the connecting back plate. Adding envelope for lens protection as shown here at right image. This protection adapt to the optical bank and cover the optical measurement area in a closed volume of air. The air flow comes out inside the closed volume and keep external dust outside.


- Oscillating support
The in-line ovality measurement of the wires, needs to continuously scan the diameter for 180° around the wires. CERSA-MCI proposes an oscillating support for its LS instruments, in order to insure the detection of the maximum and minimum of the diameter as well as the average diameter.
The OS includes an air flow connection transfer to the instrument for dust protection.
- Connexion box for network
Each box connects two instruments to their pulse generators and to the electric supply and an RS485 communication bus. The communication bus is connected to a computer that centralizes the measures from the instruments for production survey.
