NCTM : Non Contact Tension Measurement
For
on line real time measurement of the drawing force
This apparatus complete our line of fibre optic measurement instruments for in line applications. It allows the measure of the fibre drawing force without contact, without influence on the process, at high speed.
It offers the following features:
Ξ Absolute and high speed drawing force measurement
- Real time drawing force measurement by optical means: 0-400gr ±1gr,
1Khz. No influence on the drawing process
- Additional absolute measurement of the drawing force by self fibre vibration analysis: ±10gr (according to the fibre vibration).
- Measurement field within a 4mm diameter.
- X-Y analog measurement at band pass of 1 kHz, 1Volt/mm
- Event recording.
- Statistics computing.
Ξ Other function
- Fibre feed pulse counting for length and speed computing.
Ξ Outputs
- Analog of the drawing force: 0-5V, 1KHz, band pass adjustable.
- X and Y fiber position analog outputs ±10V, 10Khz.
- Digital : alarms.
- RS232C serial link : access to internal parameters and measurement results.
The NCTM works with the CERSA-MCI’s FiberWin PC software.
