Since 2003, CERSA-MCI undertook the development of a line of instruments for extrusion lines, which also find applications in large diameter of steel, glass etc The innovating process, the last technologies used, make them out standing and compact equipments, characterized by very high speed measurements, offering diameter measurement and fine defect detection with high accuracy and resolution.
These instruments benefit a common technology and a software environment call Laser Sensor (LS). This line only use static components, without moving parts (mirror). The measures are wire or cables vibration measurement independents in production lines.The metrological characteristics are indicated for each individual measures (no averaging).
They all are tested and temperature compensated between 10 and 40°C.
They all benefit of a dust protection system.

SQM-L : Surface Quality Measurement-Large diameters

For diameters from 0.5 to 80mm (0.01 to 3) with the same casings and electronic concepts, the same diameter ranges than the LPSNH3.
The SQM-L are made to continuously check in line 100% of the wire and cable surfaces with a very high resolution.
