C ERSA has developed a line of instruments using different technologies to cover a wide range of applications and answer the demands of factories for speed, accuracy, detection and characterization of fine defects, records, display, analysis, etc.

Our inline instruments allow you to follow the diameter fluctuation of a wire or cable (drawing, extrusion ) as well as defect detection (flaw, lump and neck) especially for high speed lines.

Our wire measuring tools for your activity

LDS was initiated in 1986  for inline measurement of vibrationg fine wires. First with one axis then two axes to obtain ovality value. Many drawing machine manufacturers and lso drawing die manufacturers have integrated LDS instrument inline to measure fine wire products. Diffraction technology embedded provides high accuracy measurement (less than 1µm) for each single value obtained, no averaging required.

LPS was launched several years later to better answer extrusion concerns. With 3 measurement axes and shadow technology, it provides comprehensive datas to monitor bigger wires, tubes, pipes and cables geometry. With its high-speed measurement capability, this measuring device characterizes defects and monitors diameter fluctuations in only one gauge.

These easy to use, robust and performing gauges, will allow you to control and improve your manufacturing process.
