For many years CERSA-MCI has been exhibiting its entire range of measuring instruments in Japan through its local distributor: TOHO. A long-standing partnership that allows us to be present at many Japanese customers who manufacture wires and optical fibers. Our success has never been denied in Japan. And our latest innovation, the SQM, attracted many visitors for a demonstration of its surface defect detection capabilities. A certain interest expressed by all regarding the possibilities offered and the high level performance of this new technology.
As a reminder, the SQM is used to detect and characterize surface defects of wires and cables at high speed on-line. A complementary solution to our 3-axis LPS device for on-line diameter monitoring and geometric defect detection (Lump&Neck). An all-in-one device that stands out from the competition thanks to its very high multi-axis measuring speed.
